About Albaldah
Albaldah, Pi Sagittarii, is a giant of class F, a star that has finished its main life and expanded, with a surface a little hotter than the Sun’s and an output far greater.
Its name comes from the Arabic for the town. It lies to the east of the Teapot’s handle, beyond Nunki, among the fainter stars of the Archer’s figure.
What you see in the piece
It lies far beyond Nunki and Ascella, so it falls back into the distance when you fly out from the Sun.
